Software demos lie. A three-month pilot on your own routes does not. That is why every FillDesk Pro dealer starts the same way: we load your customer list, tanks, and trucks, you run real deliveries and real tickets, and after three months you decide whether to buy the one-time license. There is no card on file and nothing to cancel.
How the pilot works
- Week 1 — setup. You send a CSV of customers, tanks, and current K-factors (or we start from your last season of deliveries). We provision your weather location automatically from your company address and backfill three years of degree-day history.
- Weeks 2–12 — real deliveries. Your office builds routes, your drivers run the offline app, tickets become invoices, and the daily fill report starts learning each customer's K-factor. DVIR and cylinder tracking run from day one.
- End of pilot — you decide. Keep going for the one-time license, or export everything to CSV/JSON and walk away. Your data is yours either way.
What we ask of you
Honest use on real routes, and honest feedback. The pilot is how we learn whether FillDesk Pro fits your operation — and whether it does not. If your business depends on features we have deliberately left out, the pilot will surface that quickly, and we will tell you rather than string you along.
Who the pilot is for
Independent propane and heating-oil dealers with roughly 100–800 customers and 2–15 trucks who are tired of a monthly enterprise bill, or who are still running on paper and spreadsheets and want to modernize without a five-figure software project. If you have 5,000 customers and 20 trucks, be honest with us on the form — a bigger platform is probably a better fit, and we will say so.
Why a pilot instead of a demo
A demo shows you the happy path on someone else's data. It cannot show you how forecasting behaves on your customers through a real cold snap, how the driver app handles the dead zone on your worst route, or whether the DVIR gate and cylinder blocks fit the way your yard actually operates. Those answers only come from running the real software on real routes for long enough to see a full billing cycle — which is exactly what three months buys. We would rather you learn the truth in a pilot than discover it after a purchase.
Your data during and after the pilot
From the first day, your pilot data is isolated to your own account at the database level, backed up daily, and never shared. If you decide FillDesk Pro is not for you, you export everything to CSV or JSON and walk away owing nothing — no card was ever on file. If you decide to keep it, the pilot data simply carries forward into your licensed account; there is no migration and no re-entry. Either way, the work you put in during the pilot is never wasted.
